MARSTON
A TOWN WHERE PEOPLE
USED TO FEEL SAFE.
A Town Where Children Played.
UNTIL...
The Confession Pre-order Now!
The
woman was definitely dead. Mark knew a deceased person when he saw one. Her
eyes were open, but they stared at nothing, looking just as blank as his
sister’s dolls’ eyes. He knew she had died screaming. Her mouth was open. He
had watched enough cop shows to know death when he came across it. And she was
dead. Gone.
Mark backed away, keeping his eyes on
the woman, although she was dead and could not come after him, he was not
taking any chances. He had seen enough zombie shows to know she could get up at
any time with her flesh sagging, her arms outstretched like antlers, and come
after him. He pulled his phone from his pocket, snapped a picture. No one in
school would believe him without proof. Then he dialed nine-one-one.
